  | A MESSAGE FROM THE OSR Sting EXTRA EDITOR "It's good to be here, writing for you out there. After covering high school sports, NASCAR, the Falcons, the Olympics, even the University of Georgia, and finally Georgia Tech in 21-plus years at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that included writing about far more than I've listed here, Tech was my No. 1 choice. When I took a buyout from the paper last year, it had nothing to do with Tech, and that's for reasons that go beyond living just a few miles from campus. I believe Tech to be the essence of college athletics, from dedicated student-athletes, coaches and right-minded administrators to the fan base. So six mornings a week, in conjunction with the "Sting" you already receive on Thursdays, the Official Sports Report's "Sting Extra" will land in your e-mail inbox. "OSR Sting Extra" will be feature driven, and include some analysis, some news, and occasional non-traditional entries like Q&As, lists, charts and whatever else we cook up. We'll also provide links to Tech- and ACC-related stories from television and internet media outlets elsewhere in addition to the Athletic Association's official website to help make this an easy access portal to the Yellow Jackets. When the opportunity to be involved in this new service came I couldn't resist the chance to be associated with Official Sports Report and Tech athletics. Welcome to Tech's Official Sports Report.
